Changes to Hampshire HAF Holiday Activities Bookings - (Changes effective from May 2026)
In May 2026, Hampshire County Council switched their HAF booking process to a new platform called EEQU. While this change has been designed to make booking your HAF places easier, we know that changes to booking systems can sometimes feel confusing, so we’ve put together these FAQs to help you understand how to book your child’s HAF holiday activities via Hampshire County Council with confidence.
Why is the booking system changing?
Hampshire County Council are introducing EEQU to improve the booking experience for families and make the process simpler and more consistent across HAF activities.
When can I book HAF holiday activities?
HAF spaces are typically available during Easter, Summer, and Christmas school holidays. Dates, locations, and availability will vary from year to year.
For the Summer 2026 holiday, you will be able to register your interest in your preferred HAF venues and dates for the Summer from 29 May 2026, then you will be able to book Hampshire County Council HAF holiday activities from 22 June 2026.
Where do I register for HAF bookings?
Please use the following link to apply for a HAF space from Hampshire County Council: Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) registration | Health and social care | Hampshire County Council
How do I book a HAF activity?
All HAF bookings will now be made through a new online booking system called EEQU.
You will be able to access the booking system using the link shared in:
- HAF emails and newsletters
- The Hampshire County Council website
- Connect4Communities communications
You can also contact: connect4communities@hants.gov.uk for guidance.
Where do I find the booking link?
The booking link will be shared in all HAF communications and will also be available on the HAF webpages.
You can register for a HAF space here: Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) registration | Health and social care | Hampshire County Council. Please make sure you use the official booking link provided to access EEQU and make your bookings safely.
What has changed?
We are moving to a new external booking system (EEQU) for HAF holiday activities.
This means the booking process may look a little different from previous years, but the aim is to make booking clearer and easier for families.
Can the ActiveMe 360 team make bookings for me?
The new system requires that parents and carers create an account with information about each child, before a booking can be made. So we cannot do that for you. All bookings should be made directly by parents and carers using the EEQU booking system.
The system is straightforward for families to book sessions, however, the ActiveMe 360 team will also have access to EEQU and may be able to support you with any booking issues you may have if needed.
Is ActiveMe 360 still involved in bookings?
EEQU is Hamshire County Council’s platform. ActiveMe 360 will continue to accept bookings made through the EEQU system on behalf of Hampshire County Council, but they will no longer manage any part of the booking process.
Who can I contact if I need help?
If you need support with booking or have questions about HAF activities, you can:
- Check the guidance on the Hampshire County Council website
- Contact connect4communities@hants.gov.uk
- Use the support information included in your HAF emails and communications
We’re here to help make sure you can access the support you need.
Will discretionary places still be available?
Yes. Discretionary places will continue to be available for eligible families.
The key change is that these will now be managed directly by the council rather than through ActiveMe 360.
What should I do before bookings open?
To help you get ready, we recommend:
- Reading all HAF updates carefully
- Looking out for communications from 29 May 2026 onwards
- From 29 May 2026 you should register your interest for the spaces you want to book for Summer 2026.
- Making sure you know where to find the EEQU booking link
- Booking as soon as possible once bookings open on 22 June 2026
Will the ActiveMe 360 Camp activities change?
No. The booking system is changing, but our HAF holiday activities will still be available for eligible children.
What if I have trouble accessing the booking system?
If you have any difficulties accessing EEQU, support is available.
